LAUREL COUNTY (WKYT) -- Police are still searching for a man who they say led them on a high-speed chase through three counties, driving a stolen truck.

The chase began last night on I-75 near Richmond, where police say they initially tried to pull the driver over for speeding.

WKYT has i-Witness video from someone caught in the middle of the chase.

The man in the stolen vehicle reached speeds of 95 miles an hour while attempting to shake the police off his trail.

Police say their suspect eventually crashed near London, at the Livingston exit heading south on I-75, after Kentucky State Police deployed spike strips.

The "high speed" part of the chase came to an end with the crash, but the man decided to shift gears to a foot chase instead, and ran from the police.

WKYT's Sean Evans spoke to a couple who live in the RV park that's situated very close to the exit where the suspect crashed and hightailed it away.

They said they hadn't been informed by police or the owner of the RV park that a suspected criminal was in the area and on the run from the police. And they said that, until they hear otherwise, they will practice extra caution.
