Police searching for suspect in Ashland hotel robbery

ASHLAND, Ky. (WSAZ) - Police are looking for help in find the man who robbed an Ashland motel early Friday morning.

Ashland Police say the Ashland Inn on the 3000-block of Winchester Avenue was held up about 6:10 a.m. Police say the man was armed with a semi-automatic handgun and got away with small amount of cash.

The suspect had a goatee and was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, dark denim pants, and white beanie cap. Police also say he was about 5'7" and in his early 20's.
