HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Police are searching for suspects after the Subway on East Main Street in Hazard was burglarized.

Police say they did not get away with much, but employees at the store hope those responsible are caught.

Kimberly White works at the Subway and thought it was a normal Thursday morning when she pulled up for her opening shift.

Once she got to work she noticed something unusual. There was no glass in the door.

The front door was shattered by a piece of asphalt, and glass was tracked throughout the store.

White says who ever robbed the store unplugged the security cameras.

"Somebody knew exactly what they were looking for," said White.

White says they did not get away with very much. They only stole the lock box that sits under the computer.

Employees say the cost to repair the damages was high and hope they will be caught soon.

Police say if the suspect or suspects could be facing felony burglary charges.
