There have been more robberies in the Left Beaver area of Floyd County, and so far no arrests.
State Police are investigating whether the recent string of robberies the past two months are related and asking the public for information that will lead them to the suspects.
The latest robbery was at the Vance Quick Mart in Hi Hat. Employees say a man came in on Friday night wearing a ski mask and demanded money.
Robbers have also hit other gas stations, restaurants, a hardware store, and other businesses.
Most of the time a man with a gun comes in and demands cash and then runs away from the business. No one has been seriously hurt, but at the Wheelwright Cardinal Country Store, the robber hit the clerk.
Police are telling employees all throughout Left Beaver to be careful until someone is caught.
"Pay close attention to those coming into your business. If they see something suspicious, they can contact Kentucky State Police in Pikeville. We'll have a unit respond or patrol the area," said Trooper Shaun Little.
Police have not determined whether the robberies are connected.
Detectives are out all over Left Beaver questioning people and looking for clues that could lead to arrests and end the robberies.
Anyone with information should call police.
"They can remain anonymous if they wish. All we're looking for is information that may lead to an arrest," said Trooper Little.
To help get information from the public, the Cardinal Country Store is now offering a $2,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction for the robbery in Wheelwright on November 21st. The suspect is described as five feet, five inches tall.
He was wearing a black mask, white or tan hoodie, camouflage pants and dark colored gloves.
