Police looking for driver involved in Wayne County, WV hit and run

Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver accused of sending two people to the hospital and tying up traffic for more than an hour.

West Virginia State Police say a Chrysler Aurora was heading north on W.Va. 152 just after 4 p.m. Monday when it hit a motorcycle and took off.

Police say the impact caused the motorcycle to hit an SUV, which went down an embankment. The driver wasn't hurt.

Both people on the motorcycle were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. There was no word on their condition.

Police say the Aurora, which is gold in color, has tinted windows and Kentucky plates. The license number is 563-LRG.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police.
