Police are looking for a man they believe could be connected to the death of James Early Long.

Long's body was found burned last week in Cumberland Gap National Historical Park on the Bell County side.

Police say the possible suspect is a white man with gray, curly hair.
He is between five-nine and five-ten ... and was last seen wearing a toboggan and green jacket and driving a late 80's or early 90's white pickup truck.

Long got out of the detention center this spring.

Long's sister, Betty Weaver, says long lived with her while he was getting his life back on track.

"I don't think this is drug related because I never saw him with anything and I'd tell you the truth," said Weaver.
Family members believe Long was robbed, but police say there could be more to the story.

"I don't think this was random. I think the victim was known by the perpetrator. I think they were doing business transactions. I think that's what lead to his death," said Micky Hatmaker with Kentucky State Police.

Now that police are releasing more details of a possible suspect, Weaver hopes the case will come to a close.

"I want them to come up with the truth...be honest with things," said Weaver.

Family members say they will remember Long as a father of three that loved the outdoors.
