Police make arrest in Southern Kentucky home invasion

An arrest is made in a home invasion in Southern Kentucky.

Kentucky State Police say they were called to a home on Bear Hollow Road in Whitley County Tuesday on the report of a robbery.

Officers arrested 27 year old Jake Messer, who they say was armed with a firearm and was demanding medication and money from the residents in the home.

Messer faces numerous charges and is being held in the Whitley County Detention Center.

No one in the home was hurt.
