Police make arrest in railroad metal theft case

Police in Cumberland make an arrest in a railroad property theft.

The Harlan Daily Enterprise reports officers arrested 31 year old Christopher Huff last week.

Huff is accused of stealing 31 comp bars from CSX railroad tracks in the area, valuing more than 77-hundred dollars.

Police say Huff managed to sell nearly two thousand dollars of the metal before he was caught.

He is being held in the Harlan County detention center.
