Rain will gradually changeover to snow early Monday morning as temperatures crash into the upper 20s. While snowfall amounts through Monday afternoon will be less than one inch for most, untreated roads are expected to be slick. This is especially the case along the KY/VA border where 1-3" is expected. A Floyd County woman is arrested after police allegedly find 23 pills in her pocket.
Police say 47-year-old Rita Thornsberry was standing on the sidewalk outside the old courthouse in Prestonsburg when she reportedly told an officer she was trying to get a ride.
Thornsberry then allegedly told the officer she had taken a Lorcet.
The officer then searched her and found 23 pills in her pocket.
She was arrested and charged with public intoxication, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
