Police in Whitley County say they've recovered thousands of dollars in merchandise stolen during a burglary.

Investigators say nearly 12-thousand dollars worth of tools, firearms, and jewelry were taken from a home earlier this month.

The News Journal reports police later found many of the stolen items after they were pawned in Corbin and Laurel County.

Police say they're now looking at surveillance video and pawn tickets as they search for the criminals.
