The search is on for a Harlan County man, accused of stealing hundreds of dollars from a post office.

The Harlan Daily Enterprise reports the crime happened Thursday afternoon at the Harlan location.

Police say Jimmy Acelinger went into the office around 3:30 in the afternoon and requested a change of address form.

The clerk gave him the form and went around the corner to help another customer.

Acelinger then allegedly jumped over the counter and stole about 850 dollars from the register.

No one was hurt.
