Police work two serious accidents

State police are working two bad accidents right now in Harlan and Bell Counties.

Police say at least six people were hurt after an accident at the intersection of 421 and 568 in the Cranks area of Harlan County.

Police also say a person was allegedly hit by a vehicle that left the scene in Bell County.

This one happened on U.S. 119 near the Helton subdivision of Calvin.

WRIL Radio reports Jimmy Howard of Tazewell was hit and flown to a hospital.

No word yet on how serious the injuries are.
