Governor Steve Beshear holds a double digit lead in the latest statewide poll when he's pitted against Senate President David Williams.
The poll by CN-2 shows Beshear and his running mate, former Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson, holding an almost eleven point advantage.
That's when measured against Williams and his running mate, Agriculture Commissioner Richie Farmer.
The poll shows Beshear with a wider lead over either republican Bobbie Holsclaw or Phil Moffett.
