Possible candidates being named in bid for outgoing Congressman Davis' office

Names are starting to surface from those interested in running for Congressman Geoff Davis's seat in Northern Kentucky, now that Davis has announced he won't run next year.

A former top aide to Senator Mitch McConnell Hunter Bates confirms he is interested in running.

Bates was briefly a candidate for lt. governor in 2003 before he dropped out rather than fight in the courts about his official residency.

Also being mentioned, State Representatives Alicia Webb-Edgington, Adam Koenig and State Senator Damon Thayer, even though redistricting could shift lines.
