Principal's purse stolen from school's open house

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky (WYMT) - A principal became a crime victim during her own school's open house.

The Whitley County Sheriff's Office says Elizabeth Fisher went to the open house at Oak Grove School Thursday night and stole the principal's purse from her office.

A few hours later, police arrested Fisher at the Wal-Mart in London.

Fisher was charged with theft.

Investigators say the purse and its contents were worth more than five-hundred dollars.
