The Public Service Commission says East Kentucky Power is now well positioned for long-term success.
In 2008, the PSC ordered an audit of the utility company due to credit default problems.
The auditor advised ways to improve management within the company and on Tuesday officials say East Kentucky Power adopted their recommendations and no longer need to submit progress reports.
