FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Officials with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet are urging citizens make their voices heard about transportation needs in the state by filling out a survey.
A statement says there's a Feb. 25 deadline to fill out the survey, which will help the agency update its long-range plans to accommodate transportation needs in the state.
More than 8,000 people have taken the confidential Your Turn survey, which is offered online and in print.
The confidential survey includes 19 questions about demographics, transportation wants and needs and options for funding. The statement says responses to the survey will be used to gauge the public's expectations for transportation in the state and to plan for the future.
The survey can be taken by going to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet's website .
