People in some eastern Kentucky counties will have a chance to discuss a surcharge that could be added to some electric bills.

The Kentucky Public Service Commission will hold a public forum in the auditorium of Lynn Camp High School.

Kentucky Utilities is one company asking the PSC to allow their request for the additional charge.

The company says it needs the money to comply with new federal regulations affecting utilities that burn coal for power.
