Public forum to be held on judicial ethics

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A proposal to allow the public financing of judicial candidates in Kentucky will get a public forum this month in Louisville.

The forum will be held Nov. 21 at the Lang House and residents are encouraged to attend, according to a statement from the Legislative Research Commission.

Democratic Rep. Tom Riner of Louisville will explain the proposal and a panel that includes judges and a law professor will discuss the implications if it passes.
