Pulaski family observes 2-year anniverary of young man's murder

Anniversaries are days most families look forward to celebrating.

But November 9, 2009, is no day worth commemorating for Jeff Price.

It was on that day that Price believes his son was murdered. His burned body was found near a creek just off Strawberry Rd. in rural Pulaski County. His pickup truck was found near his work place miles away in Somerset.

“They knew this spot,” said Price, looking at the “burn pit” where his son’s body was found in late 2009, weeks after he was reporting missing. “And they were thinking of a spot where they could take him, some remote place. Somebody knew this place.”

No killer has been found, no person of interest named.

His family has paid for billboards asking for answers in the murder. They’ve put ads in local newspapers. And they’ve offered thousands of dollars in rewards. None of it is cheap, but if it puts an end to the pain they’ve e felt for two years now, they say it’s all worth it.

Little has leaked out, but whatever evidence is there, it’s not enough to make any arrests…at least not yet.

“I hope they have a good case. An eye for an eye… a tooth for a tooth,” said Price.
