Pursuit begins in Tennessee, ends in northern Whitley County

WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) -- We're tracking information into a pursuit that just ended in southern Kentucky, and began in Tennessee.

Kentucky State Police dispatchers tell us it began in Campbell County, Tennessee, and moved through Whitley County via I-75 northbound, then moved onto northbound Highway 25 when the suspect got off the interstate on Exit 15.

We're told the chase ended around the Devil's Creek Road area in Corbin.

One person has been taken into custody.

Since multiple agencies were involved in this pursuit, it is unclear which agency will handle the charges and what exactly those charges will be.

A Williamsburg police officer reports his cruiser was rammed during this pursuit.

We're not told what sparked the pursuit.
