HARLAN, Ky. (WYMT) - Free health care is available this weekend in Harlan County.

The Remote Area Medical Clinic, known as RAM, is Saturday and Sunday at the Harlan County High School.

Friday, dozens of volunteers from all over the country arrived and set-up.

The clinic offers free medical, dental, and vision care. They can make eyeglasses on the spot. General medical care and women's health are also available.

They are planning to treat at least one thousand people.

"It's all volunteers and it shows the care that professional here in the state of Kentucky feel to give their time and their weekend," said Ron Brewer.

The doors open Saturday at 6:00 a.m.
