Christmas is little brighter this year for nearly 250 children in the tri-state area.
People with ROHO, a Middlesboro charitable organization, hosted the 40th annual ROHO Christmas Shopping Spree.
Students from nearly 20 area schools got shop at Wal-mart.
Each child got one hundred and fifty dollars to spend.
Dozens of volunteers helped kids fill their carts.
The first shopping spree forty years ago, had five youngsters. Thanks to this event, this year 246 children will have a nice Christmas.
