WHITESBURG, Ky. (WYMT) The financial picture is looking better for the Letcher County Central band and ROTC.
They have been working to raise money for the presidential inauguration parade in Washington DC later this month since they were invited in late December.
On Friday, a radiothon was held by WTCW and WXKQ in Whitesburg and the general manager at the station tells us they raised around $33,000.
They need around $75,000 dollars for the trip.
