Rand Paul says he is considering a run for the presidency

WASHINGTON D.C. (WYMT) - Kentucky Senator Rand Paul says he is considering a run for the White House in 2016.

The Herald-Leader reports that Paul will not make a decision until next year.

For now, the republican says he is focused on his job as a Kentucky senator.

Paul gave the Tea Party's response to President Obama's State of the Union Address Tuesday night.
