Re-trial request denied for man convicted of reckless homicide

A Pike County man convicted of killing another man and sentenced to 10 years in prison was back in court Wednesday.

Earlier this month, Harold Scott was found guilty of reckless homicide in the death of Sonny Charles.

Wednesday, his motion for a re-trial was heard and dismissed by Pike County Judge Eddy Coleman.

Scott was also convicted on an illegal weapons charge.
