WYMT Severe Weather Alert

More storms are firing up off to our west and will be moving in our general direction. Most should be below the severe threshold, but some could bring some strong wind and hail. We will be monitoring the system throughout the night and will update you as needed.

Restaurant closed due to roach infestation

An eastern Kentucky restaurant remains closed due to a roach infestation.

The Shoney's in Laurel County closed its doors last week after an anonymous complaint.

The Laurel County Health Department had an inspector meet with the owner and manager and will likely have another walk thru next week before the doors will be re-opened.
