Restaurant remains closed after health inspector found road kill in the kitchen

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - A Whitley County restaurant remains closed, days after a health inspector says he found road kill in the kitchen.

We spoke to the Whitley County Health Department Thursday morning and the inspector tells us he has not heard from the owners of the Red Flower since last week.

He says the owner was processing a dead deer that he'd found on the side of I-75.

The health inspector says the Williamsburg restaurant could reopenif the owner sanitizes the restaurant and it passes a new inspection.
