Richie Farmer spends day in EKY

Updated: Mon 9:07 AM, Nov 07, 2011

Richie Farmer spent his last campaign day in Eastern Kentucky, the area he calls home.

Him and David Williams believe their conservative values and understanding of Kentucky's people will brighten the state's future.

As lieutenant governor, Farmer says he would do away with furlough days for state employees and stop the war on coal.

Farmer says this is an important election for the future of Kentucky.

"We are pro life, we are pro second amendment, we are pro coal, we are pro jobs, and we are against Barack Obama," said Farmer, the republican candidate for lieutenant governor.

Farmer says the first step in beating President Obama is defeating Steve Beshear.

He encourages people to go to the polls and vote on Tuesday.
