MANCHESTER, Ky. — (September 12, 2012) — KY 11 (Daniel Boone Drive) in Barbourville will be closed at mile point 10 (near the U.S. 25E junction) beginning Thursday, September 13 at 8 a.m. and concluding on Friday, September 14 at 4:30 p.m.
The closure is necessary to allow crews to repair potholes that have developed on the deck of the bridge that carries KY 11 over the CSX railroad line.
All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
