HINDMAN, Ky (WYMT) - Many are preparing for a possible round of wintry weather Wednesday night.
Road crews were not out Wednesday pre-treating the roads because of the rain. Officials say the rain would wash that away.
Officials with The Kentucky Department of Highways say if we start to see wintry weather, they will call in the crews.
"When we start getting bad weather, and the snow might stick to the road and get slippery, we will call the crews in and have them work overnight to have the roads clean for the morning commute," said H.B. Elkins with Kentucky's Department of Highways.
Officials say they will be monitoring the forecast until the threat is over.
