Beginning Tuesday, work is expected to start on a section of Kentucky 40 in Martin County.
A section of the road broke off late last week.
Officials say the road is expected to be closed from 8am to 5pm for two or three days.
While the road will be closed, accommodations will be made for school buses and emergency vehicles that need to get through.
