Warfield, Ky. (WYMT)-- Update: 6:00 Friday
The Martin County Sheriff's Office continued to look for the man who robbed Warfield Prescription Center in Martin County Thursday.
A man entered the store, tripped on a stack of boxes, and demanded specific medications at gunpoint, said Martin County Sheriff Gorman Preece.
"To specify the type of medications that he asked for, it wouldn't be for selling, it would be for his one use, most likely," said Preece.
Thursday's robbery marked the third in about ten years said Warfield Prescription Manager Cara Goble Hale.
The store's location, near the West Virginia border, makes the store a target, she said.
Working across state borders helped catch somone who robbed a cigarette store," Preece said.
"That one case we caught them, but with the law enforcement in West Virginia," he said. "They started looking for the vehicle. They started looking for the subject on the cigarette store,"
Those with information should call the Martin County Sheriff's office at (606) 298-2828, Preece said.
