Roughly 300 jobs on their way to Ashland

ASHLAND, Ky. (WYMT)- Jobs are on their way to Ashland and Boyd County.

There's news the second stage of development of Melody Mountain will bring with it at least two big box retail stores and roughly 300 jobs.

Ashland City Commissioner Marty Gute said on election night at the Boyd County Courthouse to expect an announcement naming names in the near future.

Melody Mountain is currently home to Walmart and several major restaurant chains in Ashland.
