A Rowan County woman died Saturday night when police say she lost control of her vehicle.

State police say 43-year-old Kelly Moore of Olive Hill was driving eastbound on I-64 in the left hand lane.

She exited the roadway and onto the median and travelled approximately 200 feet before returning to the eastbound lane of traffic.

Moore lost control of her vehicle causing the vehicle to roll three times before landing sideways.

Moore was not wearing her seatbelt and was ejected from her vehicle.

Police were called to the accident before 8 p.m. near the 144 mile marker.

Kelly Moore was transported to Saint Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead and later airlifted to University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

Moore was pronounced dead before midnight.
