More heavy thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon across eastern Kentucky. While they are not expected to be as widespread as the past few days, they will be slow movers and could cause more flooding in areas that are already saturated. WEST LIBERTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Construction on a school is being delayed because of thieves.
Brian Wells, owner of Wells Group says someone drove onto their construction site in West Liberty Monday night and stole a trailer full of fifty aluminum support bars.
Those bars were supposed to be used for construction on Wrigley Elementary, which will replace a school destroyed in the March 2nd tornado outbreak.
Wells says the aluminum bars and trailer were worth $13,000.
