School deals with heating problems

Currently, the school's only source of heat is a boiler.

Principal Bristol Belcher says the boiler makes the temperature in classrooms impossible to regulate....typically causing classrooms to become very hot.

Belcher says the school's hot and cold conditions are beginning to affect student's concentration.

“I would say that they are distracted. Sometimes just sitting here if you shut the door to the office its gonna get warm, you're gonna have to turn on the air, you're gonna have to open a door so that has to be a distraction to them as well,” Belcher said.

Employees hope the school will receive more funding from the government this year, many of them say they would hate to see the school torn down.
