School officials at Jenkins High School are investigating a hazing incident.
The district received a hazing complaint this week.
The school district is looking into the allegations.
Officials with the school tell us the Jenkins Police Department is conducting a separate criminal investigation.
“We are trying to find out what's actually happened and deal with it. We don't take that lightly. We will deal with it in a very serious way,” Debby Watts, Superintendent Jenkins Independent.
School leaders continue to interview students who may have been involved.
