School officials plan to appeal Kentucky Board of Education decision

Corbin School officials are planning on appealing a decision made by the Kentucky Board of Education.

The Times Tribune reports they are appealing a ruling to go into mediation with Knox County public school officials regarding a reciprocal agreement.

Knox County public schools ended an agreement in 2009 with Corbin which has turned into a continuous battle between officials with each board.

The agreement allows students from Knox County to attend Corbin city schools at no cost.
