School system fights budget crunch

One Harlan County school district is fighting a budget crunch.

The Harlan Daily reports officials with the Harlan Independent Board of Education reduced their budget by about 7.5% or $370,000.

Superintendent David Johnson says the budget crunch is due to the decrease in seek and federal funding state wide.
