School system gets funding for breakfast program

An Eastern Kentucky school system will getting some help with their breakfast program.

The Kellogg's "Share Your Breakfast" program gave Perry County schools twelve thousand dollars to help increase the number of students who eat breakfast at school.

The school system also received some funding from Action for Healthy Kids to support the national school breakfast program.

School officials say they will use the money to develop a "Grab and Go" breakfast program.
