School system wil go on trial

The Breathitt County School System will go on trial next year after school officials were accused of taking no action in a sexual misconduct case.

Two Breathitt County School’s Administrators, including the former superintendent are named in a complaint against former Sebastian Middle School teacher Charles Andrew Mitchell.

He's facing fifteen counts relating to alleged sexual misconduct with a minor at the school.

A student's mother is seeking unspecified punitive damages from all accused parties in the case.
