Search for new superintendent is underway

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - The search for a new Pike County Superintendent could begin soon.

The Appalachian News-Express reports that board members tell them they hope the issue of finding a new district superintendent is discussed during a meeting on February 12th.

Current Superintendent Roger Wagner announced his resignation last month effective August 1st.

Wagner has not said why he choose to resign.
