Search continues for escapee

The search continues for an inmate who walked away from the Bell County Forestry Camp.

Joe Michael Spoonamore escaped Thursday afternoon.

Spoonamore, who is from Rockcastle County, was serving a 12-year sentence for possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and drug charges.

He is 36-years-old, around 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing one hundred 75-pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Spoonamore was eligible for parole in June 2013.

Officials say he may be in Rockcastle County.
