Officials say 45-year-old Ronald Clark, Jr. allegedly shot his 62-year-old father Ronald Clark just outside Clark's Liquor Store on the Perry and Leslie County line.

The father was taken to Hazard ARH by a neighbor with non-life threatening injuries.

He is still being treated at the hospital.

Ronald Clark, Jr. took off, and it is still unknown where he is.

Police say they will continue searching throughout the night.

"Apparently, the son, Ronald Clark, has shot his father several times in the face and body with a shot gun causing non-life threatening injuries, and at this point we are still looking in attempt to find the son," said KSP Captain Scott Miller.

What led to the shooting is still unknown.
