FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - A Senate panel is scheduled to consider a bill that would make it easier to hunt coyotes in Kentucky.
The bill, which already passed the House, would let hunters go after coyotes at night, using lights and night-vision equipment as well as bait and electronic calling.
The Senate Committee on Natural Resources and Energy will review the proposal Wednesday morning. Kentucky's coyote population has proliferated in recent decades.
