The sentencing of a former Eastern Kentucky sheriff is postponed.
Former Whitley County Sheriff Lawrence Hodge was scheduled to be in U.S. District Court Thursday after pleading guilty to using his office to take kick backs, distribute drugs and pay for personal expenses.
Under the plea agreement, he is expected to serve fifteen and a half years in prison.
The reasons for the delay are not known, because they are under seal in his court filing.
