Shelves of U.K. shirts almost empty as U.K. adds victories

Hazard, Ky. (WYMT)-- Shoppers left a store usually stacked nearly to the ceiling with University of Kentucky apparel with several empty shelves and tables.

Business has been strong in the past two weeks, said Wildcat Wearhouse employee Brittany Miller.

"It's really picked up where we started winning and stuff, so we've sold a lot of stuff, a lot of merchandise," Miller said.

The store ran out of most sizes of Final Four t-shirts early last week, and sales overall depend on how the Wildcats play.

"If they win, then we do good," said Miller. If they lose, we do bad, so it just all depends on how they play out as to how we do."
