HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Prosecutors plan to seek the death penalty for a man charged in a Perry County triple murder case.
21-year-old Dalton Stidham is accused of shooting Cailtin Cornett, Jackie Cornett and Taylor Cornett in the parking lot at Hazard Community and Technical College in January.
Caitlin and Jackie died at the scene while Taylor died a day later.
Stidham's trial is set for September 9th.

HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - A man accused of gunning down three people in the parking lot of Hazard Community and Technical College made his first appearance in circuit court.
The Hazard Herald reports Dalton Stidham refused to enter a plea, so Judge Bill Engle entered a not guilty plea on his behalf.
He allegedly shot and killed Jackie, Caitlin and Taylor Cornett last month.
A trial date is set for September.
Commonwealth's Attorney John Hansen says he will decide soon if he will seek the death penalty.
