Troopers with Kentucky State Police Post 10 in Harlan spent the morning making sure some local kids will have a good Christmas.
Each child got to spend 150 dollars at the Shop with a Trooper event.
Kids had to buy a winter coat and a book...with the rest, they could buy whatever they wanted.
"They get to see a different side of the state police. We are here to take them around and have a good time," said Walt Meachum.
State police say they also plan to hold Shop with a Trooper events in Barbourville and Middlesboro later this week.
